Our Chief Instructor, Roger Miller, has been involved with firearms and
firearms training for most of his adult life. From his small town roots
in a mid-western farming community, where his father taught him to
hunt and fish at an early age, to the U.S. military where he served
on active duty for over seven years. As a member of the U.S. Army 5th
Special Forces Group, Special Operations Group in Southeast Asia, serving
2 consecutive combat tours, Roger taught indigenous personal rifle
and pistol shooting.
After
returning home, Roger worked as a full time law enforcement officer serving
as their department training officer and armorer. While working full
time he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal
Justice before continuing on to Law School. Finishing law school, Roger
joined the U.S. Department of Justice where he was chosen to train newly
hired Special Agents. Roger trained our nation's top law enforcement
personnel at Quantico, VA, for over 14 years. (click
